Cut any subset
When
The first summary (or your memory of the fight) pointed at a pile that is not “the famous keep” or “our ranged rallies.” You still want the Analyst on that pile.
Focus (examples — none of these need a prepared view)
- Main-defender fights against incoming siege
- Our attacks that went negative
- Only battles where a named teammate showed up as a rein
- Solos in the second half of the window
- Incoming that hit after a heal, if you can say how you mean that
Say the criteria in comms language. Combine axes. See naming a subset and custom intersections.
After it shifts
Read the new summary: count, whose fights, which side. If that is not the pile, correct the criteria before you analyze.
Step-4 asks that belong here
- “Table of points given up by defending troop type.”
- “Who reinforced these, and on which rows were they missing?”
- “Do the bad exchanges share a target or an incoming type?”
- “List the worst three and tell me what the layers looked like.”
Wordings can vary. The intent is: custom slice, then a real question.
Common miss
Waiting to ask until you find a prepared landing that “matches.” If the slice exists in the reports, you can sit on it. The general case has no special show.
