Define a measure
When
The built-in columns are close, but you want a combination — net, a rate, a scaled count, or your own name on the arithmetic.
Focus
Stay on the slice. Defining a measure does not change whose fights you are on.
Step-4 asks (same idea)
- “Points scored minus points given up, by player.”
- “Killing times 2 — call it double kills. Mean and max per fight.”
- “(Killing minus fallen) over troops fielded.”
- “Same Effectiveness arithmetic, but label it net per potential.”
You should get a column with your name when you named it, computed from the library’s measures after they are rolled up to the row you asked for. You can ask for lowest / typical / highest / spread on that column.
Common miss
Asking the Analyst to invent scoreboard points from kill counts. Prefer Effectiveness when that is the trade you mean. The formula is computation; the train-more or “why this row” close is the reading. Full list: numbers and shapes.
