One player, then questions
When
You care about one person across the event — their joins, their holds, or everything they touched — and then you have follow-ups that no default writeup will list.
Focus
Name the player and the side or type if you have one:
- Their defenses (or main only)
- Their joins into ranged rallies
- Everything they fought (wider, noisier)
A player plus attacks plus rallies plus one troop type may land you in a series view of how those marches changed (size, dust, heals, rebound). Their defenses may land you in a defense sequence with reins. Either way, that landing is not the last ask.
Questions that are yours
- “Did later joins still trade, or only show up?”
- “Compare their full vs depleted Effectiveness on this type.”
- “On their holds, which incoming type was the problem?”
- “Main vs rein — different story?”
- “Which layers on their march were doing the work?”
- On their defenses: “What troops should they train?” (train more on a defense slice)
Common miss
Saying only the player’s name while you still mean “the team’s ranged.” You will get their pile, then wonder where the team table went. If you want the team, name the team slice. If you want them, stay and ask.
Also: after a series landing, asking “now do the team report” as if you were paging a binder. Change subset if you want the team; do not treat the Analyst like chapter two of a book.
