Why hundreds of reports go unread

Each fight in a battlefield produces a battle report with troop layers, casualties, buffs, and generals spread across multiple screens. Reading two or three reports in detail is already slow. Reading hundreds — and then reconstructing what happened to one city, one rally, or one teammate across the whole event — is not something a person can do by hand in any useful amount of time. The information has always been available in the reports. By default, it’s simply written off.

What teams try instead — and why they’re limited

Spreadsheets. Someone types troop counts into a sheet. That does not scale to a battlefield’s worth of reports, and it rarely captures buffs, layers, or rein movement.

Pasting screenshots into a general AI such as ChatGPT or Perplexity. You can summarize a few images. You cannot bulk-import the mailbox, and you cannot run surgical analysis across hundreds of structured reports from one battlefield.

Skimming by hand. A couple of fights get a close look. The rest of the pile stays ignored. You cannot build a timeline of incoming attacks, healing, and every rein swap by skimming reports.

How to analyze Evony battlefield reports in practice

  1. Install Tactica on Windows. For Fast Read, use MuMu and the Saved mailbox; otherwise connect an Android emulator running Evony.
  2. Import reports for one battlefield. On MuMu, Fast Read can load hundreds of full reports from Saved in minutes. Otherwise use Read / Bulk Read — one at a time or a mailbox sweep. Scan as many of that event’s battles as you can; completeness is what makes later analysis useful.
